Sun 29-Dec-13 05:56 PMHi,
I ordered mine from B&H. There's very little that can go wrong with these. No glass for one thing. They have them in stock for 199$. Vistek has it for 254$. LL Lozeau in Montreal for 250$
It's going to be difficult to find one used.
BTW, I sent back my 1 Nikon 10-100mm PD to B&H and they were incredibly responsive. I had a replacement in no time and I'm in Canada as well.
Just a thought...
Good Luck.

For me, Vistek is about 1.5 hours away in Mississauga. I'm in Simcoe.
Henry's Camera is in Ancaster which is in Hamilton area about 1 hour away from me and their price on-line was $269 with free shipping so I went that route. Total in was $305. They have a 15-day return policy so I have time to "play" with it to see if it's worth it to me. I dunno - its a lot of money for something I'll likely use only occasionally. And how much more magnification than my DX lenses 18-200mm on my D7000 will it really give me. I know it 2.7X more that an FX system but only 1.2 more than my current system, I think that's right? We'll see.
THanks for your input.
As for getting from the States, what with duty? and exchange and no return policy, it's a no brainer that its not really worth it. And on warranty items, it definitely not worth it IMO. Canadian warranties are way better, on lenses anyway, 5 years vs 2 years in U.S.
