The Ansel Adams Guide- Basic Techniques of Photography

Fri 13-Jul-01 08:29 PM
This book should be considered the 'lite' version of the quintessential books by Ansel Adams. John P. Schaefer (Little, Brown and Company are the publishers) has managed to squeeze down The Camera, The Negative and The Print into two volumes. While the three original books were written by Adams before his death, these two books summarize those and include updated information. Book 1 deals more along the lines of the theories and basics and introduces you to the Zone System. Book 2 gets full blown into Zone System and teaches you negative expansion and contraction, how to find the true speed of a film and alternate print development processes.

A 'must-have' for the technical photographic geek!
