I have the above lens. However, the lens will no longer zoom. It is not worth a great deal of money so I thought I'd teach myself a little about repairing the lens. I taught physics, chemistry courses etc. along with their labs, so I don't mind trying new things. I have an exploded diagram I found online. Does anyone have an idea of what to do? I know some parts will be glued, so I want to avoid having to attack glue if I can, same with seals. I did find a repair manual, maybe, online but it required installing software and paying-too many possibilities of a scam. I would even go for a good book on repairs.
