My OK button is always set to 100% magnify for focus check. On D850, I had it typically set to show the histogram, but I switched on Z 7. Missing the histogram, but there is no other hardwired button that can instantly go to 100% magnification and back, AFAIK.
My left hand is typically on the lens, while the right hand works the buttons and joystick. While looking through the finder, the playback button on the left side of the camera is not as easily reachable as Fn1, hence Fn1 as playback button.
Hope this helps.
