I just finished shooting a foxhunting event that involved nearly 1600 images from the Z6. Everything was with a single battery. About half the images were short bursts of 2-3 frames.
AF performance was terrific - I had 1-2 riders every 1-1.5 seconds going over jumps for more than 40 riders or rider groups, and almost every image was in sharp focus. I was using the Z 70-200 S f/2.8. My misses were usually riders jumping in very short succession where time between riders was a half second or less.

I expect the Z6ii would be even better.
