For BIF, have you tried auto area AF with tracking? It works quite differently than Dynamic 9. It takes a while to get used to the way the auto area works, but after using it for a while, you should notice the inherent design features of the Z6ii are quite different and that the new features are a strength over the legacy AF Dynamic 9 point. With the auto area tracking you should find that the camera can track much better than a human can.
