Rusty,

You have a nice set of DX lenses and a very capable DX camera. If you were to stick with DX, what other lenses would you want?

Your Z50 should be giving you a good taste for what mirrorless can offer. Is there some aspect of that that you want to expand on with a FX Z camera?

Yes, the Z lenses mean a whole new expense. The 24-200 is a nice lens, but it does not give you the reach, FX or DX cropped, of your existing kit, even if you put it on the Z50.

Unless you see a big advantage to your photography in going mirrorless, I would stick with what you have and add a Nikon 200-500 lens or a Sigma or Tamron 150-600mm lens. If you want something creative, consider a DX fisheye.
