I am using Linux for a major part of my photography needs, but I am also using Mac for traveling. On my Ubuntu box I am running AfterShot Pro and it works pretty well. It is IMO the best around for Linux - there is not much around.
I took the decision to go with AfterShot Pro after Apple dumped Aperture. I also use it on my Mac and on Windows. The only issue I have is that I cannot open up the same library from various locations at once since the application is not able to deal with the locking of that, even if it should (I read).
