Post processing has come a long way, and at this point in time there are several excellent applications from which to choose — and you named most of them. Bottom line is that they all work, so you are not facing a right-or-wrong decision. In many ways your decision is similar to someone asking whether they should buy Canon, Nikon, or Sony (stated in alpha order due to my obvious bias ).
I use Lightroom and Photoshop, partially because professionally I started with Photoshop thirty years ago; partially because I use other Adobe apps, and they work seamlessly together; and partially because Adobe is the biggie in the room. For additional finishing I use Nik (now DxO) filters, though I have Topaz apps available, too.
