I've used APS once, and was quite pleased - fast, could reach someone knowledgeable by phone, camera came back correctly repaired (a D800 lens locking pin broken).

One data point is not a trend, but 3 of 4 of the prior repairs at Nikon Melville were botched, so I was delighted.
