My intention is to place an order for this lens with mpb.com at approximately 3 am Sunday 1 May 2022. Their current price is showing as $759.00 USD.

If anyone has that particular lens for less than they are asking and is willing to sell it to me please let me know. I've posted the cutoff time for this purchase to be active.

Thanks for reading my posting.

I have an extra sigma usb dock if you are interested.
It makes updating firmware a breeze and aids in focus fine tuning.
They are anywhere from 35.00- 60.00 new on amazon and ebay.
Don't know if you have one but I would sell it for $30.00 brand new.

I'm interested but won't be able to purchase until May 11. If you still have it then I'll buy it. Thanks.

I'll have it. I bought one when I got the sigma 24-105 art lens, then I bought the Sigma 150-600 sport and it came with one. I really don't need two.
Let me know when you can get it.

I just got the shipping notice with a delivery date of Sunday, May 1, 2022. I'll be in touch. I don't know if there is one included or not, but I'll let you know on Sunday after I get over the excitement of my "new to me" lens.

I Don't think it's included if you are buying new. I bought mine used but in mint condition and the seller included the usb dock. I could be wrong though.
Hope you enjoy the Sigma.

I'm buying used too. KEH rates this lens as Excellent+. Not sure what that means exactly, but will find out on Sunday.

I've taken to keeping a couple of bags prepped with an extra lens in them. One set for the D4s and the other set for the D810. But with the extra lenses that I have, I've tried to find cases for them also. Now I have to find a case for the Sigma lens. I've seen a couple. One is a Ruggard Lens Case 10.5 x 4.5" from B&H Photo. The other is a Lens Case 11 x 26cm from Lowepro or a Lens Case 13 x 32cm also from Lowepro. I have cases from Lowepro and I like their construction. I don't know anything about Ruggard cases. I'm tempted to stay with what I know.

Any suggestions?

Hi Jerry. A good lens case is the Lens Changer 150 V3.0 by ThinkTank. I have a Tamron 150-600mm in this case and it fits perfectly.

I looked it over, and I like the idea of a zipper to make removing easier. Especially with a long lens that may be attached to your belt.

It came with a case but I am still considering the case you recommended.

IT'S HERE! The Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM C is at its new home.

Now I need to find the explanation for a couple of the switches on the lens. Does anyone know where I might find an owner's manual?

The lens got here in great condition. It does not have a Dock included. So I will be buying your extra one on or about May 11 if that's okay with you.

Hey Jerry. I assume the C version is much the same as the sport version so on mine it has a lock that keeps the lens from drifting out to 600 mm when it is pointing down. It also has the OS setting for optical stabilization as well as the focus limiter which prevents the lens from seeking focus throughout the full range when focusing on a specified distance. There are also custom lens settings much like Nikon bodies have which is something I don't use on this lens. Hope this helps a bit.

I wound up using the lock switch cause I did see it try to extend when I had it pointed downward. So thanks for that suggestion. It will take some time to get familiar with all the little tricks and possibilities of this lens. It is a heavy lens and will take some getting used to.

My intention is to buy the Dock no later than May 11, if not sooner. Contact me by my email so I know how to pay you.

I took a walk today with the D4s and with the Sigma 150-600 f5-6.3 C lens mounted. What I discovered is that I'm not strong enough to handhold the camera and lens combo without significant camera shake. So it looks like I either have to use a Monopod or Tripod if I want to use that lens on any of my cameras.
