Anyone on forum with an F6 in great shape touch base with me. I would prefer US for ease and safety of shipping.

Thanks,

Charles

Charles,
There is a member selling his F6 on the forum:
Here is the information with the link:
FS: https://www.nikonians.org/profile/Idyfohu
Selling my immaculate and seldom used Nikon D6 Camera.

The camera of course is a US Model, it's compete in the box with all accessories and has a total of 17,694 actuations. I can't find a mark on it, it's been babied, always stored in a case when not used, and is ready for a good home where it'll see some use.

Looking to net $4,750 and can ship out immediately.

Let me know if you've got any questions in the meantime.

Cheryl

Thanks for the quick response and for the thought. However I am looking for an F6 ( film ) and not a D6.

I wish that I had seen his earlier ad for the Z7.

Thanks again for the help Cheryl.

Regards,

Charles

Agree best of luck.
Hopefully a higher serial number.

There was a firmware update that had to be applied by a service center.

Thanks,

I understand the post 18,000 serial numbers were loaded with the new firmware. Battery usage was a key fix with updated firmware from what I understand.

There a lot of early models out there for sale. But there are also a lot of new unopened ones as well. Many many for sale from highly rated, well established sellers from Japan. I have no problem buying from there.

Charles

I have one, SN 00081xx. With it are a Kirk A-S L-Bracket, extra MS-41 battery holder, "F6" body cap, and 12 out of date 123 batteries (in addition to the ones in the camera and extra holder). I bought the camera used from Roberts Camera in August 2005 so I don't have the box, strap or any thing else that might have come in the original box. I ran 140 rolls of film through the camera.

I also have a reprinted Nikon F6 manual and a Thom Hogan's "Complete Guide to the Nikon F6". Both are in 8.5x11" notebooks.

Before typing this reply I ran the camera through all it's functions with a roll of film in the camera. I made a few exposures with both an AF-S and an AF-D lens. AF and metering worked as expected as well as film cartridge ISO sensing, film advance and rewind. The time and date were correct within a few minutes and a Daylight Saving Time error when I turned the camera on.

I'd like to sell all the above as a package. I can make pictures if you are interested. Please PM or email me with any price discussions.
