Nikonians Gallery Upload How-To
Your Nikonians Gallery is available to you as a member at no charge, whereas the collaboration features with client proofing, including private albums, ZIP upload/download and RAW (NEF, TIFF, DNG) image support are available on Platinum and Gold level.
Your Nikonians Gallery can host a large number of images (and videos) and depending on your needs you can select the membership level that is right for you. On the highest level, Platinum, there is no limit on the number of images you can store. You can also include any of the images from your gallery to be included in your portfolio, showcasing your best work.

Each file can be up to 100MB large and you can pack multiple images into a single ZIP file for easier upload. You can use the Nikonians Uploader for Mac application if you are a Mac user to further speed-up the process (Note: 18-DEC-2020: We will release a new version of the uploader, including a Windows and Linux version as well. Likely early 2021)
To upload images into your Nikonians Gallery, select "Upload Photos" in the "Galleries" menu.
You can upload individual image files or a complete ZIP archive containing multiple images at once.
Just drag & drop the files on the file selection list in the window, or click the "Select files" button.
Once the images have been uploaded, thumbnails show below in the upload window.
In the upload window: Select the files you want to upload, give them a common title and description plus select the destination where they shall be stored: In your public gallery, in an album of yours or in one of the public "Master Your Vision" categories. For sharing images with clients you would want to use a private album. If you upload full resolution images and original RAW's, you probably will opt to keep these in private albums as well.
You can upload up to 20 individual images at the time, each max 100 MB and there are no practical pixel limitations: Your gallery images will be resized on-the-fly as needed using Nikonians "pix" rendering service.
You can also combine multiple images into a single ZIP file - you can even upload multiple ZIP files at once. JPG, PNG, GIF, NEF, DNG and TIFF image formats are supported.
Once the pre-processing of the images has been done click the "Upload" button at bottom of page.
The images once uploaded will show as small thumbnails at the bottom part of the window. If you click on a thumbnail the image is shown in large resolution. The button "My Photos" will take you to your gallery.
