Short introduction on how to create your own portfolio

How to set up your own portfolio at Nikonians

1. Register as a member. Make sure you are on Gold level and login.

2. Upload the JPG photos you want to have in your portfolio to the galleries

3. Go to your portfolio page. Enable it. Enter a title and a description for your portfolio

4. Go to your gallery. Select the images to be included in your portfolio, one by one

5. Back to your portfolio: Set one image as "featured image" to be shown at the top of the page.
Best is to use an image with at least 1600 pixels width and 800 pixels height, taken in landscape mode.

6. Optionally, set your avatar

7. Fine tune your portfolio. Add more images.
The more often you add images to your portfolio, the higher the chances it will be displayed at the top of new portfolios on the homepage of Nikonians

That's it. You may also want to see our Portfolio user guide
