Joshua Tree National Park
This is our 5th year at Joshua Tree and this has been our most popular workshop!
Joshua Tree National Park can be a nature photographer's paradise - and this trip is scheduled to be during prime wildflower season!!
Last year's wildflowers were phenomenal and this year promises to be great as
well!
This will be an extraordinary experience in one of the most diverse photographic
environments we’ve been to. Come with us as we learn and have fun.
It has a fascinating variety of plants and animals, massive rock structures and
an abundance of photographic Joshua trees. Sunrise and sunset can be truly
magical.
Joshua Tree National Park comprises two ecosystems whose characteristics are
determined primarily by elevation. Below 3,000 feet, the Colorado Desert
encompasses the eastern part of the park and features natural gardens of
creosote bush, ocotillo, and cholla cactus. The higher, moister, and slightly
cooler Mojave Desert is the special habitat of the Joshua tree. In addition to
Joshua tree forests, the western part of the park also includes some of the most
interesting geologic displays found in California’s deserts. Five fan palm oases
also dot the park, indicating those few areas where water occurs naturally and
wildlife abounds.
We'll be staying at the brand new Country Inn in Twentynine Palms, California -

be meeting once daily in a classroom environment to review photographic and
post-processing techniques and once daily to review/critique our images.

Elements. We'll show you the secrets to EASILY editing your images
to create truly professional imagesThe whether in late March normally ranges between the 30's at night and 60's - 70's
