In summary, a pricey but extremely sharp, aberrations-corrected, convenient, fast, ultra quiet autofocus, rectilinear ultra wide angle zoom professional lens, incorporating the Silent Wave Motor and other latest Nikon technologies, probably the best wide angle zoom ever made so far: it even rivals legendary primes.

I am very happy with this purchase and have no hesitation to highly recommend it whether for film or digital photography, even on the demanding sensor of a D2X or later.

Have a great time
