73. Adobe Lightroom 3 - Using the Split Screen wIth the Before and After Views

Article 73 of 100

I did not get around to it the first time I wrote about the Before and After views in the Develop Module of Adobe Lightroom Beta 3, so here is a very brief (but relatively thorough) tutorial on how to use the Split Screen function of the Before and After views.

The Split Screen function is activated by checking the Split Screen selectIon box, below the bottom right hand edge of the After image.

Adobe Lightroom

The straight Before and After view of an image being converted from color to grayscale.

Adobe Lightroom

The normal Before and After magnified view.

Adobe Lightroom

The Split Screen version of the Before and After view.

Both Normal and Split Screen views are very usefull in the process of 'Developing" a photographic image. The image being viewed can be split either horizontally or vertically.

P.S. Please do not get upset if your personal experience and views are different from my own. These opinions are mine exclusively and do not reflect the views or policies of any of the manufacturers mentioned in these articles ...... George Mann
