First
off I have to confess that I am not too big of a fan of instant
website software or Flash galleries (no matter who is supplying
the software). I like building my own web pages (with lots
of tables) and being able to re-edit those web pages at any
time, without having start over again from scratch. But I
also have to confess that when someone asks me to send them
an image gallery, I have on occasion used the web page building
tools provided in Adobe Photoshop and other image handling
software.
I
can't give you a complete review of the Web Module in Adobe
Lightroom Beta 3 yet, but it does show promise and builds
some fairly nice looking HTML and Flash pages. The HTML pages
with EXIF data are a very nice touch and I will probably use
them quite a lot in the future when setting up web galleries
for photographic image clients to view (it would take way
too much time for me to build pages like that, using standard
html page building tools).
