Article

have to excuse me today, I did not have enough time to find

the reduce fringe tool in the develop module of Adobe Lightroom
to introduce fringe instead, same idea really just in reverse.

image.

windshield wiper and other contrasty edges.
Develop Module - Lens Correction - Reduce
Fringe - Red/Cyan +100

Develop
Module - Lens Correction - Reduce Fringe - Blue/Yellow -100
Blue fringe is visible on left hand side of contrasty edges.

Develop Module - Lens Correction - Reduce Fringe - Blue/Yellow
+100

Just
use the above guide in reverse and you should be able to reduce
those unsightly fringes.
