34. Lightroom Develop: HSL Color Tuning - Luminance Setings

Article 34 of 100

There are three separate HSL Color Tuning panels, Hue, Saturation and Luminance. In today's article we will look at the minimum and maximum settings effect of Luminance on our test image. Please keep in mind that these settings only affect the image if the colors being addressed are present.

Default Image. All HSL Color Tuning sliders set at 0

 

HSL Color Tuning Luminance - Reds set to -100

 

HSL Color Tuning Luminance - Reds set to +100

 

HSL Tuning Color Luminance - Yellows set to -100

 

HSL Color Tuning Luminance - Yellows set to +100

 

HSL Color Tuning Luminance - Greens set to -100

 

HSL Color Tuning Luminance - Greens set to +100
