22. Adobe Lightroom - Identity Plate Setup

Article 22 of 100

The Identity Plate Editor serves several functions, one to give a corporate or personal identity to the Adobe Lightroom application itself. The Adobe Lightroom logo at the top left of the Adobe Lightroom window can be replaced by your your own name or logo or even a Custom Identity Plate that you have set up for your client. You can set up several Custom Identity Plates in advance and when a particular client comes to see you, activate their Identity Plate for browsing images or giving a Slide Show presentation.

As you can see from the image above the Identity Plate Editor easily allows you to Enable Identity Plate to Personalize the Lightroom environment with your own branding elements.

You can also choose between Using a styled text identity plate or Using a graphical identity plate (like a corporate logo) .... and choose a complimentary typeface for the module picker buttons.

The Font Panel gives you access to a full range of fonts and font shadow effects. For font colors there is a separate Colors panel that comes up automatically with the Font Panel.

Custom Identity Plates can also be turned on in the Slide Show Module for labling slides.

Or to label prints in the Print Module.

P.S.: Please do not get upset if your personal experience and views are different from my own. These opinions are mine exclusively and do not reflect the views or policies of any of the manufacturers mentioned in this article...... George Mann
