(4) Flash: on bracket with SC-17
Flash head: straight up at 90° with white card out.
Flash settings: TTL + Matrix
Flash compensation: + 0.3
Exposure: 1/60 sec, f/4

Result: No strong shadows behind, as the light comes from above, maybe not enough under the big noses of bears.

(5) Flash: mounted on hot shoe
Flash head: straight up at 90° with diffuser.
Flash settings: TTL + Matrix
Flash compensation: + 0.3
Exposure: 1/60 sec, f/4

Result: Softer but even, slightly better than the one above due to changed height of flash.

(6) Flash on hot shoe
Flash head: at 45° with diffuser
Flash settings: TTL + Matrix
Flash compensation: + 0.3
Exposure: 1/60 sec, f/4

Result: Soft and even, maybe slightly better than the one before due to changed angle of flash, which also makes the upholstering pattern more evident.

(7) Flash on hot shoe
Flash head: straight forward with diffuser
Flash settings: TTL + Matrix
Flash compensation: +0.3
Exposure: 1/60 sec, f/4

Result: Soft, even, but not enough light coming from the ceiling as in the previous shot.

(8) Flash on hot shoe
Flash head: straight forward with diffuser
Flash settings: TTL + Matrix
Flash compensation: none
Exposure: 1/60 sec, f/4

Result: Almost exactly like the one above. 0.3 compensation seems to serve little purpose whether positive or negative.
