And for messing around Corel's Kai's Power Tools. Espcially the power goo. You have probably seen pictures modified with it. It lets you stretch and twist an image as if it were made out of putty.

Unfortunately my "travel" lens is a Sigma 18-200mm for my D50. It has big distortion at the wide end. But it is handled nicely by the PTLens plug-in.
Noise Ninja professional bundle is for those special occassions where things get messy at mid to high ISO.

PhotoKit Sharpener. It's a sharpening workflow, that was developed by some highly respected people in the digital world. And it works.
Both programs have trial versions. I would recommend visiting the respected websites and download the trails to test out yourself. In the case of PK Sharpener, I would read Bruce Fraziers artical about why a sharpening workflow should be considered with digital images.
I do have other plug-ins, but these are the two that I use on a regular basis and like very well.
The destination is our goal but it’s the journey that educates us.

A question I'd like to ask Photoshop CS (or CS2) owners is: What's your favorite, most often-used plugins (nik color effects, noise ninja, etc)--and why?
