Yes, I know - I'm an idiot, its a known fact. So I'd appreciate a bit of advice about how to NOT sharpen skys (or anywhere else I choose using PixelGenius).

In the good old days, when I used Photoshop to sharpen, I could deselect the blue channel, limiting the unsharp mask sharpening to the red and green channels only. However I now use PixelGenius, which has advantages. BUT.....for the life of me I cannot figure it out. It temporarily flattening everything before applying its effects as an adjustment layer.

I regularly use the slider controls to adjust the overall sharpening balance, but thats a whole image adjustment

I know it should be possible because the instructions refer to selectively fading or removing effects, the trouble is, nowhere does it explain the actual technique.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Richard

I assume it involves using masks? Something I've never needed to learn in the past, so be gentle with me! I use PS7 by the way.]
