Hi,
Will you clarify what the blemish is? Is it that large blob in the center bottom of the screen? Is it scratched? Is there a problem with the display of images?
Thanks.

sfoster Registered since 17th Feb 2008Sun 25-Oct-15 11:48 AMIt, at first, looks like it's wet. If the camera did, in fact, get wet, there is absolutely no other evidence of this happening. As I said, I bought it from the original owner with just a couple hundred shots on it and he conveyed to me the same that it was like that from new.
I thought it was the screen protector but when I removed it it was still there. I do not know what it is and while I have intended to have it looked at, I simply have not done so as it never changed; getting neither better nor worse.
It has no effect on viewing the image which is another reason I simply did nothing about it and I don't even notice it now when I use the camera.
Thanks for your question and your interest.Visit my Nikonians gallery

It is NOT WET. I have NO reason to believe it ever got wet! I'm just being honest with my description. The camera has performed flawlessly for me and the blemish has no, repeat NO, impact on either the performance of the camera or the ability to view photos and histogram and menu on the display. I am selling because I'm done with the project I bought it for and am returning to my DSLRs exclusively. Thanks.Visit my Nikonians gallery

KnightPhoto Nikonian since 18th Dec 2006Sat 02-Jan-16 11:53 AMJust letting you know that blob is just an ill-fitting LCD cover. I have a third-party LCD cover on my D800E that does the same thing.
