There has been some great discussions about the new D800, which we all know is eagerly awaited and due to hit the streets sometime soon?

I've started this post up to invite those 'early birds' who get their hands on one of these new cameras, to submit an image which they think shows us best what it can do!

To take into account image size/resolution limitations of this forum, here are some simple guide lines:

1) Shoot jpeg

2) Upload one low res full image (maximum size allowed = 300 KBytes , max width = 1200 px , max height = 1200 px)

3) Then upload one SMALL selected area at 100% (maximum size allowed = 300 KBytes , max width = 1200 px , max height = 1200 px)

4) No Post Processing please (except if you submit too large a section and you will need some image compression to meet the 300 Kb size limit?)

5) Feel free to include useful data like which lens was used, what aperture and ISO.

This is not a scientific test, it's just for fun
