If it has a tint I can't see it. Though I hardly use that for white balance, that's what post processing on a real monitor is for.

In order of presentation on NikonRumors - nonsense (stop fiddling with LCD controls and then wondering why it doesn't look right anymore), what did you expect (trying to use ancient cards in the D800), and working as designed (apparently - but it will likely be corrected in a firmware update). All in all, minor. No catastrophes so far.
