That's great news. I am #268 on the list and I ordered a couple weeks after placing my D800 order. My D800 arrives tomorrow. I'll have to call to find out how far behind my L bracket is.

I ordered from Adorama at 8:00AM on the day of announcement. I didn't know about the levels. My D3 has left and right levels. Both the D800 and D4 have both left and right and up and down. Really nice!

Got mine today too from RRS. Amazon tell me I will get my camera by April 12th - not sure I'm entirely confident!

Given that B+H is encouraging people to switch D800e orders to D800, I've got some optimism maybe I get mine sometime in April. Given Mike's massive fees to use his, I hope so!
