I have a Pixel grip on my D800 and recently purchased a Kirk L-Bracket so I can use this on my Arca-Swiss ball head. However, the opening in the L-Bracket is not positioned so I can open the battery tray on the Pixel grip. Has anyone encountered this problem? I really like the Pixel grip, not only because it is far less expensive than the Nikon grip, but also because its quality is virtually indistinguishable from the quality of the Nikon grip. But I wonder--is the battery tray on the Pixel version different from the tray on the Nikon grip so that it does not match the opening on the L-Bracket? Or, did B&H possibly send me an incorrect L-Bracket? Has anyone had this problem with a Really Right Stuff L-Bracket and the Pixel grip?
