I was watching a review on YouTube of a product called CamRanger. It is a wireless option that lets you control your Nikon via an iPad. Looks interesting but before I buy has anyone used this? What are your thoughts.

One thing I like is that you are not tethered by wire to a PC or MAC. This thing creates its own network, like the EyeFI in ad-hoc mode. But the EyeFI eats your camera battery while this thing has its own battery and is connected via USB. They do support the D800 USB 3.0 Micro port.

One thing it does not do is show the focus point.

It is kind of pricey compared to eyeFI at $299.
