This problem happens unpredictably where the front and the rear dials for shutter speed and fstop seem to be stuck on changing the flash compensation and the flash modes instead. It happens without pressing in the flash comp or flash mode button in combination with using the dial. I'll spin the dial to change the shutter speed or aperture and they won't move, it only changes the flash comp or flash mode. Sometimes when it happens the current fstop and/or shutter speed settings aren't visable in the camera viewfinder either. It can take two to three times of turning the power off and on to make it work properly. Very frustrating. I've tried to duplicate the problem but can't make it happen at will. Has anyone else see this one before? Camera has 1.00, 1.01, and 1.006 firmware versions listed in the menu.
Also seeing an occasional problem with the focus locking up and not working no matter which focus point I move the selector to. Sometimes the camera will fire and sometimes it won't. This is with AF-S chosen.

I've seen this - but I can't see any pattern to it - happens very rarely.
