"Trap (Auto) Focus with D800"

Inverness, US

Thom Hogan in his D800 eBook says trap autofocus was taken away in the D800/e. However, David Busch says it works in his new D800 book.

Who is right? Does it work or not?

It certainly does not work the way it did with prior bodies. I haven't read Busch's book but can't think of his solution.
