"Best way to save your preferred D800 settings..." Mon 05-Nov-12 03:23 PM by walk43

I know that there are a few ways to set your favorite settings for the D800 and then recall them without having to do a total reset. Can someone recommend their preferred way?
I often go out with my camera set to what I prefer with AF, ISO, etc..... but then I want to adjust WB for example or exposure comp +/- etc. and forget to reset those preferrences before I next go out to shoot. And....I often forget what I changed and hate going through the entire menu banks or carrying a 'quick check' card. What do you others do on your D800??

I use the Save/load setting in the Setup menu. I save the settings to a spare 4GB card and reload them is things get too messed up. Page 335 & 336 of the D800 Manual.
