"Bracketing Main Command Dial Question"

Bailey, US

I tried not to ask this question and read the Manual p307-308 and even the section in the David Baush book (which left me more confused) ... so what is happening when I hold down the bracket button and turn the main command dial clockwise and get the +/- numbers? Thank you ..

It is telling you the number of bracketed shots and showing you, graphically, the distribution of those shots around 0 EV. The other dial will be used to select the EV of bracketed shot spacing.

The number in front of the F is the number of frames in the bracket sequence. A negative sign means that all the frames will be underexposed; a plus sign means all will be overexposed. No sign means you will get one shot at the correct metering and half underexposed and half overexposed.

The number after the F is the exposure difference between each frame.
