I sent my D800 to Melville for cleanig spots off the CCD two weeks ago. What is the normal waiting time. It has been in the shop since 10 days ago. Thanks, Les

Might take them forever!
Your D800 has a CMOS Sensor.
My turn around California to NY and back averages two weeks.

Thanks for the reply, that was my mistake about the Sensor. I copied what they put on the service order they sent (CCD Cleaning). After I posted the question I realized what I did. Thanks again.

Not sure about cleaning alone, but I've sent my camera in twice for repairs and the turn around time is 3 weeks.
