"Nikon D800 in San Francisco HD - Timelapse video"

US

Hi folks, thought I'd share an HD video project on San Francisco that I recently finished with the Nikon D800 and lenses Nikkor 24mm f/1.4G and 85mm f/1.8G. Comments and critique welcome, I'm always trying to improve.

wonderful stuff. I really enjoyed the mix of regular and 'fast moving'
time lapse video. What was throwing me off (just a little) was seeing
multiple daytime/nighttime/daytime/nighttime scenes in a relatively
short movie.
I am not saying it would be better, but it would be interesting for
comparison to see a mix of these same clips into a '1 day - sunrise
to sunset' compilation.

Excellent video clip. I like it.

BTW, how many shutter actuations did you add by using time lapse?

Glenn

Really awesome. Thanks for sharing. Curious what software you used to cut and edit all the video.

I used Adobe Premiere and After Effects. My cuts were fairly simple though this time around though, so I think any basic video editing software could probably have been used.

redswept, Phenomenal production. It was like being in a dream state to me. The quality of the video was incredible as was the photography. Very artistically done. I recognized the music and loved it. M.Edmunds

I LIKE the video! Nice variety that keeps your interest. I've seen some that just did not change enough to keep my interest.

Very nice! Thanks for sharing. We have nothing nearly as dramatic here in southeastern Wisconsin, but I am in the middle of compiling footage for a very similar project. Yours is an inspiration to me!
