"10-100mm f/4.0-5.6 and the f/4.5-5.6 differences"
Thu 10-Oct-13 05:06 PM by simonleung101

I am thinking about picking up a V2 with the 10-100mm. I didn't realize there are two 10-100mm. Does the f/4.0-5.6 replace f/4.5-5.6?

Thanks
Simon

Not exactly. The 4.5-5.6 is a power-zoom lens, which is probably more useful for video shooting than stills.

The 4.0-5.6 model is a traditional twist-the-zoom-ring type lens. And considerably less expensive and lighter. Get that one unless you need power zoom for some reason.

Thanks Jon. I don't need power zoom.
