"V1 w/28-300VR - Not too Bad" Thu 20-Dec-12 02:12 PM by walk43
Still getting used to the high tele shots hand-held with the V1 and 28-300VR. Here is a shot I just took at 300mm hand held and no monopod (810mm with V1 2.7 crop factor) that's not too bad with some PP. The pic is a 4x6 vertical crop from the center of the image.

It can be really nice, especially for wildlife. My biggest surprise was using the 70-300 VR with the V1 in an enclosed area shooting black crowned night heron. Amazing pics. The D700 I was using at the time got better pics but not frame fillers!
