I wonder if anybody provide the recommendations how to use manual lenses with "dump" (not Nikon FT1) adapter on V1.

While in manual mode will I get real life picture in viewfinder (changing aperture will make it brighter/darker)?

How tiresome is manual focusing (I undersntand there is no magnifier?).
