Hello,
I just got back from Paris, so nice, probably the best city I have ever travel to, I am still in shock !
I bring Nikon V1 and Leica M9
Please check out my gallery about Paris with the V1, those pictures was pick in random.
The lens was either 10mm, 10-30mm or 10-100mm
Please leave your commends if you can or feel free to ask me any questions
Thanks!

I like some of those interior building shots. How did you find the noise? I think the V1 is a perfect travel camera.

hi,
The V1 was mainly shooting the wife and me or hand it to people to shoot for us I always bring Leica M9 and I have never met a guy that can shoot Leica properly for us (I always get picture with out of focus, wrongly frame etc..) so this time V1 is the camera for the job!
I always use ISO from 100-800, hardly hit 1600... some of the pixs was shot 3200, those pixs needs to do noise reduction in post software... so I recommend not to use 3200
Yes, V1 is a perfect camera for Travel, and I find it very fun to use.
Also, please check out the slow motion short clip (400 fps) that I shot in front of Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris

That was a good idea for the high speed clip. I'll have to try that... Out of curiosity how many pictures did you shoot with the V1 vs the M9?

wow! The slo-mo video is fantastic. That might just be the clincher for me. Some one local here is selling a whole complete V1 kit (body, all three regular lenses, gps, ft1,speedlight, grip) for $1350 on Craigslist.

Thanks for liking my video
I say you have the best deal, go for it... I spent almost 3K for mine (with the 4th lens, haftcase, billingham bag, Leica adapter)

The slo-mo in front of Notre Dame is stunning. I will have to try something like that soon.
