Not too bad. The feather definition is still fairly soft but that may have to do more with technique than optical ability. I'll need more practice. But I'll say this, this combo gives me similar overall results to the Tamron 200-500. If the bird were closer I think it would have come out even better. Now I need to find me some macro opportunities to experiment with.

The feathers may be a bit soft, but the bark is perfect. I really like it. Well done. I agree about the "technique" issue. I have my own challenges with the technique, and yes it will take practice, lots of practice.
