Is there any way to delete the d-0 through d-4 white balance presets?

You cannot delete them, but you can overwrite them as needed.

Hi Ken,

Can you be more specific regarding what you've done with your presets?

I haven't really done anything with them. In the past, I've only used d-0. I was just dinking around this morning trying to figure out how to get d-1 through d-4 programmed, and I just don't need them.
I knew I could overwrite them, but I figured there would be a way to delete 'em as well.

I imagine that since you can overwrite them and each setting is only used by choice Nikon did not see a need to have a delete option. Joseph was dead on with his reply.

Since the presets are not a "default" I would reason that "Resetting Shooting Menu" wouldn't have an effect on them. Page 125 in the manual says "if no value has been measured....white balance will be set to 5,200 K; maybe that's a default by default?
