BIF - Bikes in flight
Perhaps moving even faster than birds in flight. I have never attempted this before and I can see that I have a lot to learn about this style of shooting. The D7000 performed pretty good with nailing the focus. I tried pre-focusing but it did not give me as much flexibility. I could have made some better choices with the exposure as shooting into the sky underexposed on most shots I tried.

I posted some more in the Motor Sports forum... http://www.nikonians.org/forums/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=305&topic_id=2353&mesg_id=2353&page=

I went over and looked at the other photos. I think they look great. This seems like a challenging subject to say the least!

How much are you cropping in the photos with just the bike and rider?
