"New D7000"

I bought a D7000 today. Now all I need is a lens for it. Heh. I sold my D90 and lenses awhile back and have been using Leica equipment. The 35mm f/1.8G is nowhere to be found, but I got on a backorder list. A 50mm f/1.4G and 85mm f/3.5G macro are on the way!

When I try using the AF-mode button and sub-command dial to change the focus area, they have no effect. I'm assuming/hoping that will change when I mount a lens. Can anybody confirm that?

Rocky

You're correct. The AF-mode button and sub-command dial have no effect if a lens is not mounted on the body.
