Just want to point out that one needs to be careful when you look at these specs. The D3, D3s and D3X have a magnification of .70x and the D700 actually comes in at .72X. Now we all know that those viewfinders are NOT smaller than the D300 or D7000. This is due to the crop factor and if you want to compare between the two formats, a little math is called for.
