"Adding "Comment" to image EXIF Data"

Eau Claire, US

This weekend, I was taking photos of my twin granddaughters, and perusing the EXIF data in the camera of some photos I'd taken, and I noticed there was a section pertaining to the specific image that said Comments:

I thought it might be nice to indicate which 4 month old twin was which while I had it fresh in my mind - but could not figure out a way to input any info. Is this only for images annotated outside the camera in the computer, or is there a way to put a comment in the image directly while in the camera?

Steve

The camera can add comments, see page 237, select "input comment' to input as you shoot or 'Attach comment' to apply the comment as you shoot. Set the high light on the option you want to use and press the right multi selector, input the text using the multi selector, selector. See page 137 for how to use the multi selector for characters input.

You can also imput the comment in post processing.
