The latest D7000 review in Popular Photography

says that the noise levels 3200 ISO and above are unacceptable. In most of the Nikons D3100, D90 etc we were able to shoot around 1600 anyway without extreme noise. One of the advantages of the D7000 was low noise even upto 6400 ISO. So is the Pop Photo test contrary to this view or am I missing something?
