"MB-D11 MULTI POWER BATTERY PACK"

PR

My Nikon D7000 will arrive on January 21st 2011 and I am interested in buying the MB-D11 Battery pack but from reviews I noticed that various persons indicated that the camera built in flash pops automatically if you put the external flash SB600.
I have the SB 900 and would like to know if this also happens with this flash.

Thanks

Not sure what you're referring to. I have the D7000 with an SB600, and the built-in flash does not pop up when you attach the SB600.

What I read was that the builtin flash pops with the MB-D11 Baterry Pack and the SB 600.
Do you also have the battery pack?

Do they mention if they are installing the SB-600 on a powered on camera?

Checked the reviews. Only 3 reported postings of this issue the additional comment that this only occurred when the SB-600 went into the standby mode.

It also appears this comment may have been posted by the same person.

No, I don't have the battery grip. So if there's some interaction between that and the SB-600 I would be clueless.

I have and use the Battery Pack and SB-600 all the time.

The built-in flash NEVER pops up. I shoot in Aperture Priority Mode.
