Does anyone know if the Nikon MC-36 Cable Release is compatible with the Nikon D7K?

The Nikon remotes that work with the D7000 are the ML-L3 IR transmitter and the MC-DC2 remote. See page 281 of your user manual.

The MC-36 works with the 10-pin connection and the D7000 does not have a 10-pin connection. Instead it uses a mini-USB under a flap on the side.

The good news is the IR remote and the MC-DC2 are both very inexpensive.
