I did not know Lexar made a 1000x SD card, all that I have seen (1000x Lexar) are CF cards.
My experience with fast cards vs slow ones is that it will help increase the number of continuous shots, but the increase will be small. They do help a good bit in emptying the buffer faster so an additional string can be shot.
The existing fast SDHC cards (~90-100 MB/s) have about reached the limit of the UHS-I SD spec. To go much faster, cards will have to use UHS-II (faster bus speeds), which is not supported by either the D7000 or D7100, according to their manuals.
